Scope of Work - A sprawling ranch with grand views of the James River was redecorated to update window and floor coverings, wall, ceiling, and trim finishes, upholstery, lighting, and artwork placement.  Furnishings were rearranged to better accommodate the space layout for entertaining and traffic flow.

Design Concept - To create a two-fold presentation that showed off the client's Asian arts collection as well as emphasized the family's European lineage.  The walls became a strong visual backdrop used to balance the weightiness of the  objets d' art and the variety of fabrics used.  Inspiration for the color palette was derived from the client's art along with the breathtaking sunsets over the river.
