Scope of Work
- Along with a marina, the community
consisted of a mix of single family homes, townhomes, and a clubhouse and
recreational facility. Ten to fifteen model homes were finished out and
decorated evoking coastal themes. Rooms were set up for the home buyer
selection process. The clubhouse was decorated to express the marina
lifestyle and convey a nautical setting. Space planning of the clubhouse
was accomplished to accommodate sizeable gatherings for both the community and
the public.
Design concept -
All decorating conveyed a carefree, resort-like lifestyle with emphasis on
relaxing and entertaining. The interiors presented a variety of settings
such as seashore and beach compositions, nautical themes, marsh and wildlife
settings, water sports, and fishing. Vignette
decorating was used to suggest social gatherings as well as quiet time. Room
layouts were arranged to take advantage of the views of the waterfront.
